Bad Brains 1988

I was in 7th grade and discovered punk, I lived a few towns away from a venue named Sundance. We used to pass it on the way to my Aunt's house. It was always scorned upon as a rowdy, drug infested, shithole, biker bar establishment. I can remember the graffiti ridden, windowless building in a parking lot located conveniently next to a hospital. All the older punk kids I knew called it 'Scumdance'. I had just discovered the Bad Brains around this time from a second hand Roir cassette tape comp a friend's cousin had called 'NY Thrash'. I think this is the Sundance show when Thrasher Magazine interviewed them. When I found that out reading the magazine, I was amazed they had played so close near me in the suburbs. I remember in the interview HR said that they weren't 'a hardcore band or a reggae band-they were a gospel band'.
I randomly found this posted on http://livemp3s.blogspot.com/
